the past eight months while living away from home i've learned some very important things...
.) despite popular belief spiders are NOT more afraid of you than you are of them. if you try to stare down a spider i can almost guarantee that it will not scurry away....you either have to grow up and kill it or pray it doesn't kill you in your sleep
.) sometimes siri isn't always your bestfriend....it may lead you onto deerfoot without you knowing or take you to the wrong address when picking up someone....those are just my guesses
.) once you get into bigger towns that have more than one gas station you can actually pay at the pump...this means you get to avoid even more human contact
.) two hours doesn't seem like very long when you're sitting around on you phone or watching TV but when you have to drive that far to come back from visiting home and forget your makeup AND phone charger...it's too long to re-drive
.) wearing a coat is important. for years my mom has always told me to wear my coat or else i would get sick...well sorry mom i didn't for awhile which was probably why i had such a bad cold
.) just because fast food is like two minutes away doesn't mean you can eat it all the time...i promise i don't eat mcdonalds everyday...i really don't
.) seminary is worth getting up for. in magrath it's pretty lucky to have release time seminary. and even though i don't have to go to seminary i go to early morning anyways because my day will always start out great
.) automatic car starters and heated blankets are the worlds greatest inventions
.) sometimes if you just talk to the guinea pig it will like you..maybe
.) comfort zones are meant to be broken
so there. learn from me.
