when you're 15.....

this post is beyond late.... (like a week and a half i'm sorry) but it needs to be shared.

fifteen years ago my best friend was born.

i remember hoping and praying that i would get a baby sister. i mean kaden was great and all but i wanted a sister more than anything! and my wish came true!

we have had so many adventures together. sleepovers, shopping trips, and dinner dates.

macey is the most amazing person you'll ever meet.

she honestly makes me want to be a better person every day.

she's one of those people that can get along with people no matter the age! babies and children love her! so do cute old grannys!

she's wicked talented. she can memorize songs on the piano. and recently she's been learning both the guitar AND the ukulele!

she's GORGEOUS okay? i wish i had her hair. and she never wears tons of makeup. she doesn't need it.

she's pretty funny...sometimes! haha!

she's genuine and loving and i hope that i can be half the person she is.

i can't believe my baby sister is 15! our family's lives have been blessed having you!

i hope you never change who you are for anyone and remember how loved you are.

i love you more than anything macey <3

top 15 moments of 2015

i have done this for probably 3 or 4 years now. and this was probably one of my favorites :)

2015 had it's lows....like when zayn left one direction, when i didn't get to see tswift perform and that time i took a practical exam on my birthday BUT there also was many many wonderful things that happened....i had a hard time choosing just 15! so here they are....

1) in august i saw trevor panzack, high valley and LADY ANTEBELLUM! it was an early bday gift from julie :)

also we met high valley! 

                                

2) hiked bears hump for the second and probably last time in my life...we almost gave up 10 minutes in....but hey the view is worth is...sorta...

3) bike rides became a really common thing when it got warm

                                     

                                            

4) I TURNED 20! Like I'm two decades old...

                                   

5) i graduated from purely inspired academy of beauty with honors with distinction! couldn't of done it without this group and some wonderful instructors and my really really patient parents who seriously put up with me for months..so thanks for that

                     

 6) i moved away from home and moved in with the best roommates!

                         

                                           

7) had adventures in the hot hot weather at calaway and heritage park with this group

and somehow managed not to puke on the spinning rides...

8) spent may long at bitterroot

                                   

                                   

                                      

                                               

     
       

9) spent almost every weekend at Echo lake all summer long 

                                                    

                         

                                                   

         

10) travelled through logan's pass a few times

11) watched my baby bro graduate

12) went on a roadtrip to edmonton in may and calgary in october for the ABAs 

13) we don't have a photo (thank goodness) but one day i tried wake surfing...it was bad..but at least i attempted

14) i got a real life job and started my career as a hairdresser

15) made the best memories with the best kind of people :)

 

i'm so blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people!

here's to 2016!
